Open: 4SS, G/65; d5, EF: $45 onsite.  $$: Each player with 4 points wins $320, 3½=$160, 3=$80, 2½=$40.

Under 1600 or unrated: 4SS, G/65; d5,  Open to 1599 & under. EF: $45 onsite. Each player with 4 points wins $240, 3½=$120, 3=$60, 2½=$30.

Under 1000 or unrated: 4SS, G/65; d5, Open to 999 & under. EF: $20 onsite. Prizes: 1st: Clock & book, 2nd: two books, 3rd: book. Free entry & US Chess membership available to limited number of City of Chicago scholastic players with financial need (honor system). Email for details.

ALL: 20% discount for CCC members. Rounds: 10-1-3:30-6. Accelerated possible. ENT: Onsite 9-9:45 a.m. No phone entries. ½-point bye any round: request before rd. 2.

You do not need a rating to play in any section of this event! The Under 1000 Section will be appropriate for most unrated beginners. Our chess friends who have FIDE or national ratings from other countries should let us know: we will try to place you in the most appropriate section.

PARKING

All-day parking is available for $7 in the UIC Halsted/Taylor Parking Structure at 760 W. Taylor St. with purchase of parking sticker (normal all-day rate is $8.50). We encourage carpooling.

METRA

Union Station is a 0.8 mile walk, Ogilvie Transportation Center is a 1.1 mile walk. Walk west to Halsted, then walk south. Short taxi ride from all Loop METRA stations.

Argo Tea may be open on the second floor of Student Center East. Options within a half-mile walk include:
