FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chicago, Illinois – Chicago Chess Center is proud to present the Clark Street Capital Grandmaster Invitational on April 12th – 16th. The event features some of the worlds’ best chess players as well as up and coming, promising Chicagoans. The event features GM’s Ilya Smirin (former Israeli champion) Nikola Mitkov, Vladimir Georgiev, and Priyadharshan Kannappan.

This event is being graciously sponsored by our friend Jon Winick of Clark Street Capital.

The event will be generously hosted by Avant, at their headquarters in Chicago located at 222 N. LaSalle Drive.

The player’s games will be available at the end of each day via the Chicago Chess Center website.

This is the first event of its kind in the city of Chicago in the last decade, and it gives our young chess players the opportunity to compete and win international titles.
