In the post-mortem, my opponent found out that I was from Chicago and asked me whether I knew NM Kevin Bachler. The former ICA president is spending a good chunk of time in Clearwater, and my opponent had recently attended a lecture given by Kevin.
Maybe I should have won, I definitely should have lost, so I can't complain about a draw. Look for games from real chess players soon.
Dmitry Gurevich converted his pet opening into an extra pawn and a pleasant endgame advantage. The pawn and the advantage evaporated (this happens to GMs too), but Dmitry posed problems until his opponent failed to solve one:
