166 W Washington St, Chicago, IL 60602, Unit # 600. UNIT ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS: Use the Butterfly MX on the side of the door to enter Unit number 600, then enter the access code: 1160.

Sections:

Open: 1800+, 1600+ can play up for $20.

U1800: 1799- 1200, 1000+ can play up for $20.

We recommend players rated under 1000 to play in the Beginners Open tournament, held on the same day.

Format:

Four rounds; G/90, inc/30.

Schedule:

08/22 - 08/23

Rounds 1 & 2 at 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM Saturday 08/22.

Rounds 3 & 4 at 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM Sunday 08/23.

Prizes:

Open: Trophy and free entry in a future event for first place; trophy for 2nd place; medal for 3rd place.

U1800: Trophy and free entry in a future event for first place; trophy for 2nd place; medal for 3rd place.

All children who score higher than 50% will receive a medal!

$40 online by August 15th; $50 by August 20th; $55 after that. FIDE-titled players automatically receive free entry.
