Summary: USCF Rated Classical Chess at the Chicago Chess Center

Location: 166 W Washington Street, Unit #600

Sections:

Open: 1600+, 1400+ can play up for $20.

U1600: 1599-0.

Format: Four rounds; G/90, inc/30.

Schedule:

Rounds 1 & 2 at 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM Saturday.

Rounds 3 & 4 at 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM Sunday.

Registration: $40 online by 10/22; $50 by one day before; $55 after that.

Registration closes 15 minutes before the first round. Any players not registered before then will receive a round 1 bye.

Affordability: If you are unable to afford the entry fee, please contact us.

FIDE-titled players automatically receive free entry.

Prizes:

Open: Trophies and free entry in a future event for first, second, and U2000

U1600: Trophies and free entry in a future event for first, second, and U1200

All children who score higher than 50% will receive a medal!

Transportation: Conveniently located within 10 minutes of multiple L stations (Washington and Wells, Clark and Lake, Washington, and Lake), Ogilvie, Union Station, and the Kennedy.

Parking: There is street parking, lots, and garages nearby.
