International Master and four-time national chess champion IM Sam Schmakel will be the guestmaster in a risky clock simul this November! Clocks will be set to 45 minutes with a 5 second delay. The higher the number of players, the more difficult this simul style becomes for a chessmaster, but IM Sam Schmakel is ready for a challenge! 

Location: Chicago Chess Center, 166 W Washington, Unit #600 Chicago IL.

Schedule Friday, November 7th. Simul starts at 6:30pm.

Format: Clock simul. G/45;+d5 (45 minutes plus 5 second delay per move)

Registration: $25 online before 10/29 $35 after that. Maximum 35 entries. 

Prizes: All players who win against IM Sam Schmakel receive a trophy OR free entry to a future CCC tournament of their choice. Players who draw the IM receive a medal.

Transportation: NEW LOCATION: We are less than a block away from the Brown, Orange, Pink, and Purple L line stop at Washington/Wells, as well as the Clark/Lake stop.
