NOTICE: NO GAMES ON 05/25 DUE TO CONFLICT WITH THE 35TH ANNUAL CHICAGO OPEN TOURNAMENT.
Summary: USCF Rated Classical Chess at the Chicago Chess Center. One game, played every Monday. Allowed up to two half-point byes. You can also register for an individual week, if you can only play one game.

Open Section: 1600+, can play up.
U1600 Section: 1599-1000
U1000 Section: 999-0
Format:
3 rounds (one per week 05/04-05/18) with time control G/90, inc/30 (90 minutes with 30 second increment).
Pairings will be designed to minimize rating difference between opponents (Monrad Swiss)
Schedule: Three rounds, one round per week, every Monday ( 05/04-05/18) at 6:15 PM. Check-in deadline is 6:10pm. Any players not checked in before then will receive a round 1 bye.
Registration: Free, USCF membership required. You can also register for just one week, if desired.
Prizes: For 1st place per section: Trophy or free entry to one future CCC tournament. All children who score 50% or higher will receive a medal!
Transportation: We are less than a block away from the Brown, Orange, Pink, and Purple L line stop at Washington/Wells, as well as the Clark/Lake stop. We are also right across from the Washington & Lasalle CTA bus stop. Find navigation to 166 W Washington St, Chicago, IL 60602, Unit # 600.
Parking: There is street parking, lots, and garages nearby.
