USCF-Rated Friday Blitz

Equipment:

Chess sets and clocks are provided by the CCC. 

Location:

166 W Washington St, Chicago, IL 60602, Unit # 600. ENTRANCE INSTRUCTIONS: Use the ButterflyMX to enter our unit number: 600. Then enter 1160 for the Access Code. Head to the 6th floor, and the center will be on your right.

Section & Format:

Open; 5 double-rounds (10 games) SS G/3, inc/2.

Schedule:

Round 1 at 6:30 PM, Rounds 2-5 ASAP. Usually ends before 9 PM.

Prizes:

None, but all children who score higher than 50% will receive a medal.

Registration:

Free! (CCC Membership required after two events.) Online or onsite before 6:15 PM.

Please check in once you arrive to confirm you will be paired. Players not checked in will receive a round 1 bye.

Registration closes at 6:15 PM. Any players not registered before then will receive a round 1 bye.

Transportation:

Conveniently located within 10 minutes of multiple L stations (Washington and Wells, Clark and Lake, Washington, and Lake), Ogilvie, Union Station, and the Kennedy.

Parking:

There is street parking, lots, and garages nearby.
